About

Helping AUB studentsmove up, one courseat a time

5 tutors, 10 AUB engineering and computing courses, taught by code.

What GradeLift is

GradeLift Academy tutors American University of Beirut engineering and computing students in specific courses, by course code. A session is booked against EECE 230, not against “maths”.

Tutoring is one to one and live online. Sessions are recorded and handed back afterwards, so a course builds into a library you keep. The first session is free.

Every tutor is an AUB student, matched only to courses they have already completed there.

What we cover

The catalogue lists 11 courses and 10 of them have a tutor today. The one that does not EECE 380 stays listed, and its page asks to be told you need it rather than quietly disappearing, because a student searching for EECE 380 is the signal that decides who we hire next.

5 tutors. 10 staffed courses. Nothing outside that, on purpose.

How we work

  • By code, never by subject

Nobody teaches maths here. They teach EECE 230, with the professor, the quizzes and the marking scheme that come with it.

  • A course is staffed or it says so

10 of 11 courses have a tutor. The rest say we are recruiting, on their own page, and take your interest rather than a booking we cannot honour.

  • No invented proof

No stock testimonials, no borrowed statistics, no tutor who is not on the roster. Where this site has nothing yet it says so, including further down this page.

Who we are

TODO(content): founder names and rolesTODO(content): when GradeLift started, and whyTODO(content): students taught to date

Left visibly blank rather than filled with a founding story nobody can check. This is the section that would be easiest to write and hardest to defend.
